Worcester Art Museum

The Worcester Art Museum is recognized for 51 centuries of art, including decorative arts, paintings, sculpture, photography, prints, drawings, arms, and armor. It is considered a “classic American museum,” and it has established a 37,000-piece collection that crosses over fifty centenaries. The original collection consisted primarily of works on loan and plaster casts of famous ancient and Renaissance sculptures. The museum’s mission is to connect people, neighborhoods, and cultures through the experience of art.
