Tursi'S Latin King

Tursi’s Latin King, honourably started by Jim and Rose Pigneri in 1947, was named after Bob, and Amy Tursi purchased the restaurant in August 1983. For more than 60 years, Tursi’s Latin King Restaurant has been the flagship of Des Moines’ traditional Italian fine dining. It showcases family-style dining and delicious menu items like Pollo Alla Sorrentina, New York Strip, Chicken Spiedini, Tartufo and Tiramisú. The Latin King continues to acknowledge the reputation of the Tursi family and is estimated as the best Italian restaurant by local press and dining enthusiasts.
