Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum & Gardens is a historic house museum in Rockford, Illinois. The house was built as a personal residence by Robert Hall Tinker. The place has over 27 acres of trees, vines, winding pathways, flowerbeds, and gardens. They offer WiFi internet access, rental of tables, chairs, projector and screen. Guided tours are approximately 60 to 90 minutes long and are a completely walking tour available. A wheelchair is available free of charge. They offer free admission for tinker members, children 5 and under.
