Detailed Information

The Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson is one of the country’s leading art museums. The home is the state’s oldest official residence, serving as an educational facility and a traditional attraction for Augusta City, Georgia State, and the Nation. Historic Augusta, Inc is owned and operated the residence and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2008. Their qualified, highly skilled docents guide all home tours, and unlike many museums in-house, non-flash photography is accepted and encouraged. There are fourteen rooms decorated in the Victorian age of the 1860s, a new service house with kitchen and carriage house.
