Dr. Stephen A. Schantz did his residency in general surgery at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was accepted into one of the few integrated plastic surgery residencies established in the country. He completed his medicine at the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philidelphia, Pa. He did his residency in plastic surgery at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Schantz completed specialized training in cosmetic surgery at the Marina Plastic Surgery Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Schantz is extremely well trained in all aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He is on the plastic surgery staff at Samaritan Hospital and the Maxwell Outpatient Surgery Center.
