St. Stephen Church

St. Stephen Church was founded in 1925. It’s one of Worship’s most prominent black churches in Louisville. The church has 10,000 members and listed as one of America’s top 100 largest churches in 2005 by Outreach Magazine. Their core beliefs are: The Scriptures are the divinely inspired and written Word of God. St. Stephen Church is the body of Christian believers who are committed in covenant to worship God and to share the Gospel with unbelievers. The new building was built at the location where the original St. Stephen Baptist Church building. The church includes the Sunday school lectures, combined with practical preaching and instruction based on the insightful bible of Cosby. With the expansion of their online worship services and programming, St. Stephen’s e-campus grew to include members who live in other states such as Connecticut, Georgia, Ohio, and Florida.
