Southwood Golf Club

SouthWood Golf Club is a special facility built by The St. Joe Company and one of Florida’s most popular layouts situated in Tallahassee. The course has been masterfully designed by PGA Tour legend Fred Couples and by the architect Gene Bates. SouthWood Golf Club is a state-of-the-art public facility nestled between rolling hills, grazing lands, and ancient oak trees covered in Spanish moss. The courses offer a pleasant and competitive golf experience for players at all levels. The clubhouse is a splendid 7,200-square-foot building with a wrap-around porch with views of the 9th green and 18th green. SouthWood Golf Club’s interior has exposed ceilings and full-height windows, offering an array of natural light and transparency. It also has a dining room for 100 guests balanced by a majestic cherry and granite fireplace with a lovely bar.
