Red Oaks Nature Center is located in 37-acre Friendship Woods in Madison Heights. It provides an outdoor component for family nature activities. There is also a covered picnic area that is the perfect spot for a snack break. Its 1.3-mile paved track is used for hiking, biking, and walking. The trails are well maintained, with many to choose from, including a sensory trail. Visitor can also take part in seasonal displays in a log cabin and family programs.
