Phinizy Swamp Nature Park

Phinizy Swamp Nature Park is a 1,100-acre nature park located on Lock and Dam Road in Augusta, Georgia. In each season, the park brings a new array of picture-perfect scenes and occasionally a glimpse of wildlife. It is well maintained and has many miles of boardwalk and dirt trails. Phinizy Swamp Nature Park also has all kinds of programs for the children. The park has a campus for water research and environmental education, which includes a visitor center. It has a playground, picnic areas, long hikes, short hikes, and lots of biodiversities. The park is open every day (weather permitting), from sunrise to sunset.
