Pete Brown Golf Facility

Pete Brown Golf Facility was established as Jackson Municipal in 1947, later becoming Sonny Guy Golf Course, and eventually renamed after Pete Brown in June of 2019. Pete Brown, a Jackson native, began his golfing career as a caddie at the Municipal Golf Course, affectionately referred to as Muny. He later became a professional golfer and became the first black player to win a PGA sanctioned event. This 18 Hole Public Golf Course is nearly 6700 yards from the Blue tees and offers generous fairways, mild roughness, and a driving range.
