Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church

Our Lady of Lourdes Church is one of the famous churches in Minneapolis. The church was established in 1877. The church was declared a US historic site in 1934 and is the first parish in the US named after Their Lady of Lourdes in memory. The church’s structure demonstrates two distinct architectural forms. This culture has continuously been worshipped here for over 135 years. Their Lady of Lourdes Church Stained glass windows are one pair at a time, were built in the late 1890s and early 1900s. Their Children’s Faith Formation combines monthly classes hosted online Sunday mornings, digital resources, and special all-parish events. The Parish priest plays a significant liturgical role in preparing the sacristy areas as well as the sanctuaries for the regular and weekend liturgies.
