National Museum Of Nuclear Science & History

National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is the chartered museum in Smithsonian affiliate of New Mexico. The museum incorporates 16 permanent indoor exhibit areas, two classrooms, a theater, a library and conference room, a gallery for temporary exhibits, and the museum’s store in 30,000 sq ft of space. The museum aims to show the varied uses of nuclear energy in the past, present, and future through permanent and changing exhibits and displays. The museum offers exhibitions and professional educational programs, which reflect the variety of individuals and events that form the nuclear age’s historical and technological context. The museum also conducts workshops during winter, spring, and summer breaks. Childcare is available before and after camp at the cost of $25/week.
