Dr. Murali Guthikonda is a neurosurgeon who graduated from Guntur Medical College, Andhra University, Guntur, India. He did his Skull Base Cerebrovascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Murali has a special interest in pituitary tumors and uses minimally invasive procedures to manage large and complex versions of this tumor type. By using endoscopic techniques, he removes tumors in a safer way. He specializes in performing complex aneurysms and vascular malformations of the brain using advanced neurosurgical and microsurgical techniques. Dr. Murali is the author of various articles and a frequent lecturer throughout India and the United States on skull base surgery topics.
