The Mississippi Civil Rights Museum chronicles the tales of Mississippi’s historic freedom struggle and serves as a gathering place for all Mississippians to engage in meaningful public dialogue. Its mission is to document, exhibit, and educate the public about the American Civil Rights Movement in the United States state of Mississippi from 1945 to 1970.
