Mission San Luis de Apalachee’ worked as the principal community of the Apalachee and was the administrative, religious capital of Spain and the westernmost military. The building where the mission stood was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1966. It was homeward to more than 1,400 citizens, including a tremendous Apalachee chief and the Spanish deputy governor. The work was allotted by gender and custom, and women gathered food, farming, and food preparation. There is a venue rental of the 250-seat banquet room with outdoor courtyard Classrooms, a warming kitchen, and a meeting place for rent. Mission San Luis de Apalachee offers camps, workshops, and special events throughout the year.
