Kentucky Derby Museum is one of the Louisville region’s finest attractions, showcasing the world-renowned Kentucky Derby event’s culture, history, hospitality, and pride. Derby Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Louisville, Kentucky, dedicated to entertaining, educating, and inspiring everyone about the incredible Kentucky Derby experience. It provides free education services for public and parochial schools in the Kentucky and Indiana states that rely on core academic standards. They give tours seven days a week. Each year, the Museum welcomes over 230,000 visitors. General access involves two types of permanent and temporary family-friendly interactive exhibits. Historic Walking Tour of Churchill Downs with one of their knowledgeable tour guides. It provides complimentary admission for children (under 5). Kentucky Derby Museum also offers discounts for active and Retired Military and organized school groups.
