Joliet Iron Works Historic Site is located in Joliet, IL. It was once the second-largest steel mill in the United States. It has a 0.59-mile paved pathway with a self-guided educational tour highlighting the historical significance of the place. The site also 7.57-mile crushed limestone/paved trail, which is widely used for walking and hiking. The capacity of 100 people shelter is available on reservation. It is a great place to have close to finding out history.
