Johnny'S Hall Of Fame

Johnny’s Hall of Fame is one of the most reliable and prime sports bars in Des Moines, back in 1962, John Ulrich and his wife, Fran, started the Interlude Lounge Key Club in the Elliot Hotel just throughout the edge on 4th Street. In 1972, Johnny and Fran pioneered a new idea in the bar business and changed the title to Johnny’s Hall of Fame, producing the first sports bar in Des Moines. They began gathering and hanging sports pictures of all features in every Hall of Fame during the sports environment. Their restaurant’s famous quesadillas cheese-filled tortilla served with salsa and sour cream and coated with tomatoes and green onions. Their chef combined yummy salad greens covered with ham, turkey, black olives, diced tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, and cheddar jack cheese.
