Damien K. Tavares, MD - Hawaii Pain Center

Dr. Damien K. Tavares is the founder and owner of the Hawaii Pain Center in Honolulu. He is ABMS double board-certified in pain medicine and physical medicine & rehabilitation. Dr. Damien obtained his medical degree from the University of Hawai’i John A. Burns School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship at the University of Hawai’i. Dr. Damien has performed thousands of interventional procedures, including surgical implants, for refractory pain. Dr. Damien has expertise in diagnosing and treatment for post-op complications. He uses Radiofrequency neurolysis, bursal, and joint injections to treat pain conditions.
