Comite River Park

Comite River Park is a park covering 100.4 acres. The path has some steep terrain and is hilly. Comite Park Trail is a heavily trafficked 4.9-mile loop trail near Baton Rouge. The trail provides many choices for the exercise. This park includes a shelter for picnics, a station for bicycle washing, and restrooms. The trail has a more accessible option across the highway to the nearby Blackwater trail. You can also go to the 5.5-mile mountain bike trail. The surface of the path is mainly hardpacked, with a few sandy parts closer to the water. It is 11 miles through complex terrain, including access to beaches and swamps. Comite River Park has a picnic shelter, bicycle cleaning station, and restroom facilities. It is excellent for hiking and biking, with various landscapes.
