Choc·O·Pain French Bakery is one of the best bakeries in Jersey City, NJ. Clémence Danko is the Owner of this bakery. She is a French native who moved to Hoboken, NJ, in 2009 with her spouse. After arriving from France in NJ, they were hard-pressed to find a freshly prepared croissant or a good baguette west of the Hudson River. They are always using only the highest quality and freshest, local-when-possible ingredients. At Choc O Pain, everything is baked fresh daily. All the bread are sourdough-based and prepared in the traditional European way, using only four basic ingredients. They also have flavored fresh sandwiches, quiches, soups, and salads for lunch/brunch. French baking classes are also available. Gluten-free options are available at Choc·O·Pain. Choc·O·Pain has three branches within the United States.
