Dr. Charles A. Sansur graduated from the University of Maryland School Medicine. He finished his resident in Neurosurgery at the University of Virginia Medical Center and completed his Brain and Spine Fellowship at Auckland City Hospital in New Zealand. He is well-known for performing the most complicated neurological surgeries. Dr. Charles is an expert in the treatment of lumbar spine microsurgery and brachial plexus. His research interest in spine infection, spine fusion, sacroiliac joint disease, spinal oncology & spinal instrumentation. He is nationally recognized as an expert in spine surgery. He regularly speaks at well-recognized spine societies, including the American Association of Neurological Surgery, The Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the ONESpine meetings at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute.
