Char Restaurant

Char Restaurant is a south-facing steakhouse in a clubhouse with leather benches, warm woods, and a large bar area. The Restaurant is the second premise to open its doors in the Amerigo family of restaurants. They are locally owned by the same folks that brought you Amerigo Italian Restaurant, Sombra Mexican Kitchen, Anjou Restaurant, and Saltine Oyster Bar. They have been supplying the Jackson community for more than ten years now and expect to open more locations in the Southern Area in the future. Their specialties usually involve USDA Prime and Choice beef, veal and lamb cuts, and seafood and shellfish roasted to excellence. Try their Veal Oscar at $29, Original Cowboy Ribeye 20oz for $54, Chili-Fried Oysters for $12. The Restaurant has fabulous lunch specials all week and a jazz brunch on Sunday.
