Burpee Museum of Natural History inspires all people to engage in a lifetime of learning and discovery about the natural world through preservation and interpretation. They offer exciting field trips for schools and hands-on workshops from making fossils to water quality testing and invertebrate analysis in their water lab right on the Rock River. They offer home-school programming where the museum becomes your laboratory. They provide free admission for toddlers (3 & under) and active military families from memorial day through Labor Day.
