Avalon International Breads is the casual counter-serve for salads, sandwiches & organic, homemade pastries & fresh bread. They delivered the first rolls of bread from their newly built hearthstone oven in a small, converted warehouse in the Cass Corridor of Detroit in June 1997; Its mission is to provide high-quality bakery items at a reasonable cost. They have a wide range of bakery products such as cookies, bread, pastries, and sandwiches. Avalon is a perfect place to order bakery items for special events, such as wedding anniversaries, corporate meetings, and birthday celebrations. Avalon has grown from the Hearth and Soul of Detroit into a new production facility, the Avalon Bakehouse on Bellevue in Detroit. Vegan options are also available at Avalon. They now deliver their bread throughout Metro Detroit. Avalon International Breads has three branches in Detroit.
