Albuquerque Museum

Albuquerque Museum has served as the cultural center of the town since 1967. Albuquerque Museum, formerly known as the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History. The museum retains a reputation as one of the Southwest’s leading centers for art, history, and culture. The museum promotes people’s rich culture, history, and creativity through local, national, regional, and global exhibits. It offers a wide range of programming, including live shows for children of all ages in its amphitheater and docent-guided tours. This museum focuses on the region’s rich heritage and exhibits illustrating architecture, history, and culture. It has a collection house of 10,000 art pieces, 27,000 historical artifacts, and more than 130,000 photo archive items. The museum also gives free access to groups in school (K-12) through their magic bus tour program.
