Ellis Marsalis Center For Music

The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music is a vibrant thriving music school that is a 17,000 square feet facility that serves as performance, education, and community venue. The music school includes a 170-seat concert hall, recording studios and education facilities for individual/group instruction, and a meeting place for the community. They provide a safe, positive environment where underserved kids and youth grow musically, academically, and socially. The music school gives strategic support and tools to Village musicians that can improve their professional growth and offer chances for musicians throughout the town of New Orleans to play and record. The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music offers a wide range of programs that are available to all, such as concert series, community events, volunteer opportunities, space for family gatherings and celebrations. The music school also gives dance classes for children and teenagers in Ballet and Modern Dance.
