Daniel Refai, MD - Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center

Dr. Daniel Refai is a board-certified neurosurgeon in Atlanta who earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2003. He finished his residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He currently practices at Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center. Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center is affiliated with Emory University Hospital Midtown. He is an expert in performing spinal trauma, brain trauma, spinal tumors, stereotactic, vertebral fractures procedures, herniated disc, and disc replacement surgeries. Dr. Daniel conducts researches in outcome analysis and radiosurgery for spine tumors, and he specializes in the treatment of all aspects of complex spine surgeries. He has published extensively on treating spinal disorders and has developed innovative multidisciplinary approaches for treatment. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the North American Spine Society.
