Dr. Matthew G. Thorson is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. He earned his Doctorate in Medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Matthew completed his anesthesiology residency at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He has expertise in using stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine to treat many chronic diseases and cancer pain conditions. Dr. Matthew has attended numerous conferences and courses on interventional pain medicine and minimally invasive spine procedures to keep up to date on his patients’ best information and technology. He has also spoken at many events on interventional pain issues, legislative issues, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Matthew is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, the Minnesota Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the International Spine Intervention Society.
