Dr. James H. Rice is one of the leading pain management specialists in Albuquerque. He finished his undergraduate education in Physiology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. James earned his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. He is the owner and medical director of Southwest Interventional Pain Specialists in Albuquerque. Dr. James performs peripheral nerve blocks, spinal injections, and sympathetic nerve block procedures to treat pain. He focuses on using medications, injections, and other interventional procedures to diagnose and treat pain. Dr. James is also an experienced independent medical examiner for workers’ compensation cases.
