Como Park Zoo and Conservatory was established in 1873. The professional team of the zoo is committed to the well-being of the many plants and animals that live here, with a strong emphasis on biodiversity and serving over 2 million visitors annually. Como is home to a wide range of plants and animals and accepts tourists 365 days a year. The exhibit houses the twin polar bears Buzz and Neil from the zoo and features more than 13,000 square feet of outdoor habitat. The conservatory also contains six indoor gardens and many outdoor areas, each year displaying thousands of beautiful plants. Como Park has been influential in meeting the leisure needs of Saint Paul residents and local communities. The conservatory is top-notch, with the flowers in the sunken garden changing regularly. It provides all park visitors a wide range of free or reasonably priced leisure activities, facilities, and education opportunities. Como Park Zoo and Conservatory also have an indoor cafe and guest shop.
