Saint Louis Zoo is voted America’s top free attraction. The Zoo has been known for its stunning naturalistic exhibits and diverse collection since its establishment in 1910. It attracts three million tourists a year and is the region’s most-visited attraction. The zoo is situated on a 90-acre lot and includes over 600 animal species. It provides programs designed for visitors of all ages and learns through practice, participation, and exploration. It has more than 13,000 animals representing 555 species and is known internationally for its creative approaches to animal care, management, conservation of biodiversity, science, and education. Zoo gets the opportunity to meet more than 16,000 animals in the zoo’s responsibility; many of them are rare and endangered. This zoo, which has 6,600 animals and 15 main display areas, wows tourists. Saint Louis Zoo offers free admission for children under two.
