Detailed Information

Ste. Anne de Detroit Catholic Church was established in 1701 and is America’s second-oldest continuously active parish. Their magnificent neo-gothic church, in the heart of Detroit, is an architectural treasure, and the church has many artifacts from the stone church on Bates Street, which stood in 1818. You can see the springing neo-gothic architecture, beautiful stained glass windows, spectacular side altars, and statues. Ste. Anne de Detroit Catholic Church is an active parish, sanctuary, historical gem, and landmark in a revitalized, multi-ethnic, bilingual community. Their congregation is rich in diversity and is home to many-age parishioners, religions, and histories. Ste. Anne de Detroit Catholic Church provides opportunities for prayer, adoration of the Eucharist, Mass, catechesis, eucharist, social events for all ages, and communion.
