Waveland Golf Course

Waveland Golf Course is the oldest golf course in the municipality west of Mississippi. It is a public sloping and wooded golf course with 18 holes constructed in 1901. The clubhouse is a red brick antique building of the 1940s, with outstanding food, a large banquet hall, and a pro shop. Approximately 70 percent of the golfers in Waveland Golf Course use one of the 72 golf carts on the course, which is understandable considering the hilly terrain. At Waveland Golf Course, the fairways are fully irrigated, but the grass sometimes suffers due to the lay of the land. It has a comfortable and fun environment, ideal for chatting with fellow golfers. Waveland Golf Course welcomes over 40,000 rounds of golf played annually.
