Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park

Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park features over 5 miles of forested hiking trails located in located in downtown Shreveport, LA. The 160-acre nature park contains a pine-oak-hickory forest accessible and the perfect place to explore the small birds and animals. It has an interpretive building with three live animal rooms, 2 group picnic areas, an herb garden, a butterfly garden, an outdoor aviary with captive raptors, and 5 miles of hiking trails with wayside exhibits maintained by the Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department.
